Special Use Multimode Fibers
OFS' special-use multimode fibers support industry needs for demanding applications in military, aerospace, and industrial sectors. OFS offers 100/140 µm graded index multimode fiber that provides for maximum coupling efficiency, as well as highly durable fibers having a larger, 500 µm, protective primary coating. Our radiation hardened multimode fibers are designed for applications where exposure to radiation would cause optical signal loss in conventional products. All these fibers are available in 50/125 µm and 62.5/125 µm graded index multimode designs. OFS' special-use fibers are manufactured with the same state-of-the-art processes and exacting specifications as our other fiber designs.
