OFS offers Graded-Index Multimode Fibers in a variety of core diameters and bandwidth options to support a wide range of short reach LAN, Central Office, and Data Center applications. Our LaserWave® Fibers cost-effectively support enterprise networks up to 100 Gb/s. DMD-controlled to provide optimum performance with laser sources, LaserWave® Multimode Fibers are designed and manufactured to a carefully controlled refractive index profile achieving low attenuation, high bandwidth and longer link distances.

High-Performance Multimode Fiber
OFS multimode fibers offer the most economical solutions and widest performance ranges available for all types of networks. These fibers support legacy, low bit-rate systems, while providing same-fiber upgrade to the latest high speed 100 Gigabit networks. OFS multimode fibers are the best choice for Local Area Networks, Storage Area Networks, Equipment Rooms, Data Centers, and Central Offices.

Special Use Multimode Fibers
OFS' special-use multimode fibers support industry needs for demanding applications in military, aerospace, and industrial sectors. OFS offers highly durable fibers having a larger, 500 µm, protective primary coating. These fibers are available in 50/125 µm and 62.5/125 µm graded index multimode designs. OFS' special-use fibers are manufactured with the same state-of-the-art processes and exacting specifications as our other fiber designs.
