Enables Fast, Easy, and Secure Optical Drop Cable Deployment
We’re excited to announce the introduction of Go!Foton’s Midspan Clamshell Hardened Terminal (MCHT) is an integrated connectivity solution for network projects supporting OFS customers worldwide. The Midspan Clamshell Hardened Terminal offers hardened connectivity without the need for hardened connectors. The innovative clamshell design provides IP68 protection for each individual
connection while enabling fast, easy, and secure optical drop cable deployment.
Sherpa CMS™ Cable Management System
Installation System for ADSS Networks
The Sherpa CMS ADSS Cable Management System is a non-metallic (EPDM rubber) way to attach cables on a span.
There are different versions:
- Attach flat and/or round drops to ADSS trunk cables to simplify ADSS-based fiberoptic networks, primarily for electrical coop and municipal FTTH applications.
- Attach ADSS trunk cables to a neutral or other metallic messengers to decrease
effective ADSS span lengths and sag under load - Attach 2 ADSS trunk cables together
AccuRoll™ Dry Core (DC) Rollable Ribbon Fiber Optic Cable
Increased Fiber Density and Improved Cabling Coiling for Performance You Can Count On.
The AccuRoll Dry Core (DC) Rollable Ribbon (RR) Cable features rollable ribbon technology, the newest optical fiber ribbon design from OFS. To form these ribbons, 250 μm fibers are partially bonded to each other at specified intervals allowing the ribbon to handle and behave like a traditional loose fiber design while still allow ribbon splicing ability. The AccuRoll cable is available in both dielectric and armored constructions featuring a robust and familiar cable sheath for the outside plant market in some of the smallest cable diameters in the market.
RollR™ Central Core Rollable Ribbon Fiber Optic Microcable
Increased Fiber Density and Improved Cable Coiling for Performance You Can Count On
The RollR CC Rollable Ribbon (RR) Microcable features 288 or 432 optical fibers in a gelfree, central core cable design optimized for micro-duct installations. The cable features rollable ribbons, OFS’ newest optical fiber ribbon design. To form these ribbons, individual 200 or 250 μm fibers are partially bonded to each other at predetermined points which enables the benefit of mass fusion splicing capabilities in a significantly smaller cable diameter to maximize fiber density in congested networks. The cable design features a central tube construction with helical strength elements for improved handling and installation capabilities in air assist installation deployments. Specifically designed for air-blown installation using microduct systems, the rifled outer jacket cable reduces cable friction during installation to maximize installation lengths.
S124X Rollable Ribbon Fusion Splicer
Combining the functions of multiple machines into one!
The FITEL® S124X is our most adaptable ribbon fusion splicer fit for any application. This splicer does it all: Both 250 μm and 200 μm pitch ribbon fiber, Rollable, and Flat.
Designed with end users in mind, the FITEL S124X Fusion Splicer delivers rapid splicing/heating with reliable and consistent results. This fusion splicer is suitable for the use of hyper-scale ribbon cable, and is an excellent choice for a variety of deployments including Data Centers, Metro, Backbone and Long-Haul applications.
A broad range of new features that enhance communication, ease of use, portability and field durability have been combined together to make the S124X Fusion Splicer one of the most powerful and user-friendly fusion splicing machines available today.
