Applications for Your Fusion Splicer

It is required to download this to use with the below applications. It connects PC and Fusion splicer via USB cable.

Application

The Splicer Data Explorer (SDE) is a software application that supports the fusion splicer. This application is compatible with the NJ001, S123 Series, S153 Series, and S178 Series. It is not compatible with other fusion splicers.

The Splicer Data Explorer 2 (SDE2) is a software application that supports the fusion splicer. This application is compatible with the S124 Series, S179 Series, and S185 Series. It is not compatible with other fusion splicers.

OFS FITEL’s SmartFuse is designed to enhance splicing performance in the field, lab and factory. The software enables users to improve splicer’s performance, such as sophisticated fibers’ alignment, “live” splicing, etc. and manager splicing data, including insertion loss and splicing images.  Additional features include the ability to edit, upload, download and backup/restore splicing recipes.    It also allows users to establish a network connection through RS232, GPIB or USB to PCs. SmartFuse works with all FITEL splicers.  A 30-Day Free Trial for Advanced version is available.

*Smartfuse virtually works with all the FITEL S123, S124, S153, S177, S178, S183, S184 and S185 series splicers.
